Some still believe in magic, higher meaning, a higher purpose and a celestial power.
Even at the brink of ruin they believe.
A man made doom, a mushroom cloud created by our own hands, and yet still mankind
stands in awe, silently praying, staring at a nuclear light as if it were the Rapture
… like our demise would be the act of a god.
Mental ghosts passed on down, generation to generation.
Science is rejected, cities fall, governments start new wars, smoke screens.
Silent weapons for a cold war.
Information is power, power to take a life, information is free.
Morality, no longer is among us.
As another kick hits the broken bones, another bullet takes flight. Lights out.
Death shines like the only surviving star. Still they believe in gods.
Raise the flags of heresy, march towards the atomic light
with the knowledge that we brought this upon ourselves.

will save us—we used it to take us to the brink of apocalypse.
