1. Rise (Apollyon I)

"I've been washed away
By the waves of destiny,
Into an ocean of my own design.

Searching and seeking, hoping and praying.
Sewing and reaping, wandering, straying.

Why have these hands sought to destroy everything
When they should bring prosperity to the weak?

My lungs are heavy with demise as I climb
From the ashes, as a Phoenix. I will rise!
I will climb!
I will rise!

The rhetoric's been planted, the smallest seed.
In hopes that these words will bloom like leaves.

'As blind as we are to the wind, what else can we not see?
Will tainted honey ever taste as sweet?'
The question I've had, but lacked the courage to speak,
'Is it wrong to, just this once, dip our feet?'

Why have these hands sought to destroy everything
When they should bring prosperity to the weak?

Innovation is necessary, the outcome is revolutionary

With rhetoric that's planted, whose roots run deep,
My words now resound without deniability.

'As blind as we are to the wind, what else can we not see?
Will tainted honey ever taste as sweet?'
The question I've had, but lacked the courage to speak,
'Is it wrong to, just this once, dip our feet?'
The faces reply with sheepish confirmation;
Eye-to-eye, we'll never meet. I stand above.

Lift up your chalice, and drink the honey.
Consume until you hear the tide in the glass;
And watch the dealings of a prophet unfold
Like petals of violet, drenched in royalty.

Innovation is necessary, the outcome is revolutionary."

2. Relinquish (Apollyon II)

"Run the seas dry, until they're cold and marrowless.
Let flame taste the rye; their filthy hands hold emptiness.
The true word is nigh, some will claim it's powerless.
They'll never see light through cylinders of faithlessness.

Do you recall all your fears?
Do you retain those insecurities?
What could crack stone so thick,
Or cause pure steel to corrode so quick?

I have constructed this kingdom,
On a foundation of moral perfection
This, I claim with the utmost conviction;
My passion and vigor will remain unwavered.

Listen to what the righteous say;
Where to work and where to play.
These fences keep you at bay.
Swear loyalty, how your head and pray.
Reach out your empty palms.
Feed yourself on empty psalms.
War and starvation will not heal contagion;
So, brothers and sisters, receive your salvation.

Do you recall all your fears?
Do you retain those insecurities?
What could crack stone so thick,
Or cause pure steel to corrode so quick?

I watched the crowd gather 'round.
Upon the head, they placed a crown.
Their cheers and praise began to mound.
I heard the choir roar,
'Make way! The Savior has come!
This is the day; the crusade has begun!'

Listen to what the righteous say;
Where to work and where to play.
These fences keep you at bay.
Swear loyalty, how your head and pray.
Reach out your empty palms.
Feed yourself on empty psalms.
War and starvation will not heal contagion;
So, brothers and sisters, I plea,
'Place your faith in me!'

'First they took our arms, next, came our rights,
To relinquish our free speech; our ability to fight.'

'Make way! The Savior has come!
This is the day; the crusade has begun!'
You're safe here!"

3. Rebel (Prophet I)

The weight of a crown can bend one's spine
Into the most grotesque shapes.
When the neck is burdened with heavy lies,
One sees the world in brand new ways.

I fear not men or beasts, nor the monsters of the sea;
Death by the coward's hand,
Or enslavement caused by wicked schemes.

Stringing together the clippings of a dying age,
The gaping fallacies beholden inside every page.
The truth lies inside the spacing a of white.
Those words hold no power, their weight is light.

They say,
"Tame your tongue, bind your mouth.
You know He's listening."
But I say,
"Weigh your words, forget what you have heard,
Because I'm listening, there's fault in everything
He says."

I may lose the battle, but the fight will go ever on;
Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess.
The King calls me into His arms.

The weight of a crown can bend one's spine
Into the most grotesque shapes.
When the neck is burdened with heavy lies,
One sees the world in brand new ways.

Sharper than venom,
Darker than ravens,
He will tear the walls to the Kingdom to the ground.
Fabricating the need of His presence
To shatter the walls of his weak-minded peasants.

They say,
"Tame your tongue, bind your mouth.
You know He's listening."
But I say,
"Weigh your words, forget what you have heard,
Because I'm listening, there's fault in everything
He says."

4. Ruin (Prophet II)

O, you fools!

How can you rely on these false prophecies?
You've fallen victim to the wiseacre's folly.

Your reign will one day wither,
Just as a flower striving for light.
Though it may not be my directive,
Your bouquet sees naught but night.

By closing your eyes to wine
And turning from prophetic sight,
Or claiming to be Christ defined,
You'll drown in that honey that you hold so high.

Black days are upon us.
The equine quartet is nearer than we perceive.

I know that God will stand with me
Through every cry and every plea.
Hated and persecuted for my true beliefs
By the very nations that will bow on their knees.

I know, my God, you stand with me
I know you hear my every plea.

It's true, I have failed Him. God views me with beauty,
Though a grain of sand in the fingers of perfection.
This house is dark and cold, I've seen my demise.
In the wake of ruin, I've watched a child lead he fight.

(Though I am flawed, though I am weak,
Your face, forever, I will seek.
You make me humble, on my knees.
I will accept my destiny.
I reach my arms out, God.
I finally see you in my sight;
And I will stand behind the father,
He will lead the fight.)
