BIRDS IN ROW LYRICS

1. Pilori

I'm devastated but the last example you should use to feed it. And this war of words only keeps a good place in my worst headaches. Please forget me. Relieved and happy, you can dig a deep grave and drag me along my pride. And I'd better grit my teeth. I'm wrong, I know. One more lesson learned. Bastard, fucking bastard. And in the back of my head I'm killing all the judges like you, for the glory of assuming my crime. I'm burning the ignorance of you. My silence equals my rancour but I'm fine. And for one time in your life, you owe me an explanation: Why are you putting me down when you had tons of better solutions? A rope, a razor, a gun, a cancer, the poison, the fire, the fall. One more conversation, one more wound, one more war. A war for every mistake made and for the comfort of all you'll be the genius.

2. There Is Only One Chair In This Room

A bunch of thoughts laying quietly on the silence, and a ton of reasons to not open the doors. I've been looking for space and time in the moments I shared, but the time fades away and my space is a whore raped by thousands of strangers, and begging for rest. Cal me disaster or social retard but I only feel safe between my two pairs of walls. Don't let me out, the world outside is a damn fucking nightmare. And the people a joke that should have stayed stuck on the teeth of its goddamn son of a bitch owner. When nothing seems clear through the cleanest window, the obvious would say the problem's not in and the doors will stay closed for all strangers. May my building burn and I will surely burn into it. There is only one chair in this room and it does not bear my name.

3. Cages

For every encaged hope there is a reason to struggle. And it doesn't take much courage to just say 'no'. I see no justice in considering the profit over the toms of murders. A cage is a cage and the bankers won't be the ones who scream. Their conscience, our reason, you need to abandon this ship. Day by day we keep tearing down our cages. So what is fair into collaborating theirs. For every encaged hope there is a reason to struggle, For every damaged heart there is a reason to fight, For every enclosed life there is a reason to struggle. And it doesn't take much courage to just say no.

4. Guillotine

Holy great guillotine, I gave you a part of me. Not my heart, not my chin. Holy great guillotine you ate almost all my dreams. I'm condamned to lose something I cherish. And to let it all go in a mutual contentment, watching the floor get closer to my face. And there has been no trial, something to get what happens to me. nothing but silence, and silence signs my end. Death to the guillotine. We lose and share the emptiness of all passions and cares. In the end, am I just allows to breath? Among no head bodies, other no head bodies. On our necks a better people would sail and they would have fun for sure, and we would endure it without wanting to know more. My end will be where it's supposed to be, I know.

5. Walter Freeman

Doctor please, I need a new hope. The more I run, the more the track becomes a living hell paved with regrets. I've been looking for some help. The smiles in the streets they scare. The hands on my back are fucking weight. The picks in my head, they help, I believe. Shake, Shake, Shake, Shake, The wine, The whiskey, they became discrete pills. The ice pick, a remedy. I'll never find a way to wake up and here comes the mourning. I give up, the steel is already in. Understand, you're the last chance I take to die. And I don't want to die. Who cares about real questions giving you the doubt you need? I'm tired of thinking of what I could get to drop out. I'm alone now, in the same old trap. Longing for a sand box smile to some back. I feel left behind. On and on the same glass and the bottle is down.

6. Last Last Chance

See I'm losing all my poems into one single flame, watching all the living stare at the skies like waiting for some help. But do we know where our feet are when we think about giving in? Do we know where our feet are when we give up the last little chance?

7. You, Me And The Violence

A provocation to loneliness, when all the best ends up into a grand march that doesn't fit you. Insisting looks and cheap perfumes on trampled sidewalks are aggressions that I won’t answer to. I try, I swear, I doubt, I fail, I tried, I tried, I tried. Just another witness ain't seen it coming. I was sitting there and yes I could still watch silhouettes dancing, with some kind of interest. I ain't seen it coming, month by month experimenting the distress of not seeing sense in the cadence of bodies. I'm sitting back in a place and watching the world declining, slowly as a granpa. All wrinkles drawn with millions of shoes used on the side of complacency. It's simply not for me. I tried to give it all sense. I tried to love perfume again. I tried to give it all meaning. I tried to remember. In the morning of my world, all loved has ceased. And in the end it is only you, me and the violence, with no kinda limitation. Before the death of all hearts, when all love will cease, the hope is saving. Give me a way to see clear into this foggy sea. Slowly we walk to the end of our dreams.

8. Grey Hair

We were born silent and ignorant and the constancy of our faith would never fail. We are victims and guilty in the same way. Young kids and old timers on barricades.

9. Cold War Everyday

I want to dance til the dawn of a new day. Just like the rat on the cradle of a new city. And get the appetite of a bulimic bear facing the promise a close famine. Broken wooden horses for only ride and a million of chances to take. My tangible fears sleeping on my knees til this journey does end. Too tired of making war. To realistic for peace. A 'never again, never again!' to the beats leading me to defeat. Some of you would say I'm a coward, sneaking away from down-to-earth matters. Run coward, run. Don't tell me what to do. Run faster, run. If only I could break down the system.

10. The Illusionist

With my hands tied up and my body sinking into the sea. I'll still escape from this. Put me in a box, and then I disappear. I'm the illusionist. Beware of your pockets, I'm not the one who can be trusted. Just a pretender. What you are sure to see, what I give you to believe. A wall of smoke to hide the fact that I don't even believe in magic. But the important thing is to show people way more than you know. With a hand moving and a good piece of plastic I'll make you believe in anything. And I already love the image of myself you reflect every night of my life. I'm fake, and it seems I like it.

11. Police & Thieves

Underestimated and over-jaded. With a constant feeling of kissing the ground. And a bitter taste of non-personal failures going down. The liars have never told about growing up as being a self-resignation. You can climb the hill or just die trying. So many lost their lives in the boredom of waiting. You have to choose your side. And I'm done with playing cops, I'm done with queueing, I swear I'll try to be free. Give the power to the thieves. Love live the robbery and love live the crime. Those who tarnished their name for the sake of their life. And as there is a side for which we need to choose, I choose the one where you're told to lose.

12. Lovers Have Their Say

We could have saved them one by one. All the lovers left all alone. We could have killed them one by one. For putting beauty into vain words. Something is missing. When no more candles light the dark. When no more roses could add some colours. When everything around smells like someone, who disappeared in your mirror. We are the saviours of dignity. We are the leftovers of crucified generations. Made out of murders and of abuses. Digging the gap between moulded heads and the passion. We are the prayers needing no churches. We are the sense of all no name rebellions. We are the quitter and the rejected. We are the betrayal and a two thousand year old question.
